2005 Kawasaki ZX636 for sale
Currently set up as my track day bike with race bodywork, but I have all the stock plastic that is in nice condition. The bike could be back in street livery in a few hours.

I’ve owned the bike since 9/05. It has 21,000 miles with 16,000 of those miles on the street and 5,000 as my Tony’s Track day instructor bike.

The bike has had regular oil and filter changes with synthetic oil and the coolant is fresh last season. The chain and sprockets have about 4000 miles on them and the valves were adjusted at 13,000 miles. The front Pirelli Supercorsa is good, but the rear is ready for replacement. The bike runs excellent and has a clean title (in hand).

I did low side the bike last season on the track at about 40mph. The frame slider did its job in the fall, but there are some marks on the wheel bead edges from when the bike hit the dirt at the edge of the track. The only other blemish is on the stator cover, which is scraped. The race bodywork was a bit scuffed so I repainted it although it could use some freshening up.

The tank that is currently on the bike is my “track tank” and has a dent, but I have a spare tank that is in nice shape. The front plastic tank cover has a 3 inch crack, which I don’t have a replacement for.

Nothing exciting. Another 05 ZX6 with fewer miles. It just goes to show how much I love the 05/06 636.

I debated whether to even bother, but it makes sense to sell my current ZX now before I put more track miles on it.

I haven't been active about advertising this. I'd like to see if someone wants it as a track bike before I put it back to street.
