My g/f didn't quite take to riding like I'd hoped, so we have her '89 Honda CB-1 up for sale. Mileage is under 4000 original miles!!!!
Now the Bad: A guy in a car door decided to open up right in front of me one day while I was going to work, which smashed the gauges and scuffed the front fender. Forks are fine and straight, she rides perfectly, but I had to replace the gauges. I got a 100% brand new NOS gauge cluster along w/ headlight, headlight bucket, and hardware. I also got some new side covers to replace the old ones which were starting to peel or corrode. There is also a small dent in the tank from the clip on, which pivoted on the fork tube and has since been moved back to its original location.
The bike rides like an absolute dream, the carbs were just fully rebuilt and will be synch'd up and ready to go prior to sale. I'll also gladly do an oil change before the winter and help with bike / winter prep.
Tires are brand new Pirelli Sport Demons with under 1000 miles on them, great tires!! The forks were rebuilt just prior to last year and I put on a CBR900RR shock which is adjustable.
This is a ridiculously fun bike to ride in / around town and if it weren't for my recent business venture and need for a truck, I would absolutely keep this bike / buy it off my g/f and commute to work on it myself... which is actually what will happen if nobody is interested.
$2500. Email: Scottieducati@gmail.com with interest please!!!
Pics here, NOTE: I pulled the bike out for pics, the gas-tank is NOT secured down at the front and the side-covers that go just under the front of the gas tank are not on the bike. I DO HAVE THEM and they are in great condition. I just wanted to get some pics up for those interested.

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades...or a game of fake heart attack.
Very nice bike and the thing runs very smoothly.

where's the pix Scottie??
Dude... Go post it over here: http://www.hondacb1.org/ it's not as robust a board as NESR but they have 431 members... All CB-1 heads.
I've been waiting for the GD weather to clear to take some pics!!! I'll post some up tomorrow. The bike is going to my carb guru for a sync, full look over of the bike, oil change and thorough winterization.
I'd rather post it here, as I think it's a fantastic ride for someone looking for a commuter or with a significant other who'd like to get into riding and would like to see it go to a good home.
I'll post pics tomorrow, and hey... I absolutely destroyed a gaggle of Monsters (from 1000's to S4Rs) down the Kank on this thing. I mean... destroyed. She's definitely fun to keep on the boil and keep up the corner speed....
Who's your carb guru in the medford area?
I've been looking for someone to work on my KZ.
Bump for pics added. My "guru" picked the bike up last night, she was running on 2 cylinders, but that won't be the case for long. He's going to sort it out, synch the carbs, and do a winterization for me. She'll be in the basement for the winter in no time ready to go.
Noxin, PM me and I'll shoot you my carb guru's info.
