1989 Honda Hurricane 600 (F1)

I need to sell my first bike as I'm back in grad school and sadly don't have the funds to get it shipped and insured in cali.

The good, its a great starter bike (at least for me). It was easy to ride, starts right up and does well. I haven't had a problem with it mechanically but I've only put 4.5k miles on. The bike currently has 33.5k miles on it.

Before I bought it, it had brand new tires, chain, sprockets, and wired for a battery tender. I've since changed the the fluids, new rear brake pads, put new seals in the rear caliper, new spark plugs and bought a new battery.

The bad, the plastics are scuffed, it looks like its been down on each side (not by me), and due to improper storage of the gas tank (when I had off of the bike), the gas leaked out and removed a bit of the paint on the tank.

Otherwise, the bike has been good to me and I've taken it on long trips into VT and NH.

Its currently located at my parents house in Carlisle.

I'm asking $1600.

Dude you have no idea how much fun I have on that thing.

All I have had to do to it was front and rear brake pads, clutch and throttle cable, new battery, fix wiring, put dirt bike bars on it, gas, and then the fun began. Those fuckin pipes are soooooooooo loud. I ride it into Boston from NH during the summer.

Maybe I should stud it for the ice.
