1999 Suzuki SV 650 For Sale ~ Maine

After having been advised how long a process the title application takes to be returned from the state, I called the town office to ask just how long I should plan to wait for the title to show up here. They told me about another couple of weeks.

So, I was a little premature in advertising the SV for sale.

I do have the receipt from having submitted the Application For Certificate of Title which indicates that the motorcycle is indeed in my name and that there is no lien against the SV.

Sorry for any angst here putting that offer out there too early. I am heading back to San Diego next week and not back until December...!

So, if anyone wants the SV with my promise to hand over the title when I receive it, cool, if not then I'll see you guys in the Spring... LOL

I do logistics support which consists of coordinating and supervising the maintenance on a couple of different ships classes in San Diego, Keeps me busy travelling at least one week a month and during these longer projects, three to four months at a whack.

Tends to cut into my riding time too...

Akrapovic actually makes some sexy stuff for HDs. Too bad none of my customers will spend $1400+ on it though.

I actually like the big twin nice a quiet as it is now. If there were a canister that would boost a little flow without any added noise, I would be up for that.

I work for Military Sealift Command as a 2nd Assistant Engineer aboard a T-AKE class.

No, more of a maintenance coordinator, we work closely with the PEs and SWRMC for the Navy...

I happen to be in an avail that is at the yard that built the T-AKEs right now... they are building the MLPs right now and that is a huge rig...!

I do not work for NASSCO, the ship happens to be here at that facility for PSA. They do put some steel together, crazy to see how fast those MLPs go together like a giant Lego toy....!

Yup, I work out of Maine however, I'm not there much.

No problem on the hijack, gives the SV some visibility.

I cannot believe this motorcycle is still for sale, cheap, great street or T/D ride... There was a great deal of interest early on but the title hold up must have killed it.

I think I will just give it to my Son-In-Law to commute on in the Summer or I can send it out here to San Diego to have here for my fun....
