This bike has few modifications, except for a chain oiler (now defunct) and a front fender extender and hear tire hugger. The mileage on the bike appears to be legitimate, the tires look original and aside from the scratches from the crash and lack of maintenance, the general condition of the bike is great - very little corrosion or general wear.
Potential concern
-The plastic bodywork is a 5/10, the tank is about 8/10 (no big dents), many panel fasteners are missing.
- The forks are leaking but do not bind.
- The engine ran last year after I bought it and made good power but was a little rough. The diaphragm fuel valve was leaking when I bought the bike and has since been replaced. It won't start right now and does appear to be leaking some fuel from the rear carb. I think the float valve might be stuck and both carbs probably need to be cleaned.
- A title search shows a salvage from collision in 2005. I have bill of sale of my purchase from the previous owner. I purchased the bike in 2012 in MA and has not been registered by me.
- The battery is dead
