just gauging interest here at this point so here goes. i have a 00.5 rsv mille that i'm probably gonna have to sell this spring. i bought it in 2002 from the local dealership with 9050 miles on it. the odometer now reads a little over 12K!! i have 3 other bikes beside the aprilia and since i hardly ride it, i may sell it. i'll be taking it to the shop to have eveything checked out like i do every year and figured that would be the best opportunity to sell. previous owner parked too close to the cement wall and scraped the exhaust but its very minor. bike has never been down or in the rain. what do you suppose its worth? anyone interested? could there possibly be a new ride in your future? if there is enough interest it'll most likely go!

Has all scheduled maintenance been performed? By dealer?
Don't be mad because I won't buy your bike.
I have just gone right through my 2000 rsvr...it's going on the track this year... these are beautiful bikes...the 2000 being the best lookig of all the Mille's since then and sooooo easy to work on... the Rotex built motors are bullet proof. talking to the tech at Wagner motorsport the other day - he said he has never seen one where the valves needed adjusting.
FOr some reason the Aprilia's were not al that popular in the US...maybe more interest now they are back in WSB..and running with the front pack....

there's all cruisers next to it.. you selling your only sport bike?
i've always had a thing for rsv mille's ever since i rode with a guy with a sweet 04. i couldn't stop staring at that bike.![]()
i've always had a thing for them since they can be had for a steal in used condition.![]()
all scheduled maintainance performed by roadside marine. i've only put 3000 miles on the bike since i've owned it. its been in the shop the beginning of every season for oil change and tune up since 2002 (changed six times). its going in shortly to insure everything is in top shape pending the potential sale of the bike. bike was purchased from roadside marine new then traded in. i traded my 96 yzf 750 and additional cash to buy it in 2002. it has never been stunted or to the track. however i am guilty of an occasional wheelie here and there lol.

yup, i'm too old for this thing now. the marauder is the old ladies beginner and is also going up for sale. i tried to get her to ride the aprilia, but she's more comfortable on the other v max. i dont want to sell it but i barely ride it. however, i wont just give the bike away. its paid for and if i have to sell for below book, i'll just keep it and ride it here and there.
