2000 VFR 800

This is a screaming deal for a fully competent bike with some cosmetic flaws.

About 13,000 miles, new Dunlop sportmax rubber and new fluids and filters.

Some scuffs on body work two small tank dents and a 6" crack on the right upper fairing (currently stabilized with miraculous clear Gorilla tape.

I also have a color matched Corbin seat (OEM currently installed) and and old school LP tank cover.

Pics as soon as I can get it out of the shed.

Given the mechanicals, V4, gear driven cams, ss swingarm, etc. This is a lot of quietly competent street bike considering that $1,500 will take it.

If you''re looking for a cheap sportbike to hoon around on, this is a steal.

These focus on the flaws, we all know what the 5th gen VFR800 is. Also, the extra seat is a Sargent and there is a Givi tail box mounting bracket that drops in where the passenger grab rails are if you've got the idea of a little sport touring with a hard case out back.

My hope is that someone truly interested in riding the wheels off of this will look at it and say, "The apex of the VFR breed, perfect mechanicals, fresh rubber, <15k miles for $1,500? Get me to an ATM immediately!"

And I'll be happy that it's in a rider's hands.
