Im selling my 2001 Yamaha R6, it has 14,xxx miles, not sure of the exact milage at the moment, but its in the 14K's. Has a Carbon Fiber Hindle Slip on exhaust, Black and red Pazzo Racing levers, a tinted windscreen, Pro Grip Gel Grips, and a carbon fiber triple tree cover. Tires are Pirelli Diablo's with a ton of life left on them, they have MAYBE 1000 miles on them. The bike is in great shape, only minimal blemishes that you might expect on a 01.
I have the title. Bike was just inspected last Saturday. Runs great, no problems, has new battery too.
I am currently riding the bike, so the milage will go up some.
Updated price 4100

Your motorcycle won't poke you in the back in the morning when it wants to go for a ride

price lowered
Is it still up for sale?
Just gauging interest. I recetly bought 99 ZX 7R in May and already put 3,000 miles on it! Getting hand dirty this weekend and chanign oil, brake fluid, etc etc.
I always loved the R6. A few concerns though:
Can you help me sell my current ride? Its in pristine condition
I do not want to pay $250 for registration (this is what I paid for current bike - i think part of it was sales tax or something - was too excited to notice detials)
Transfer of insurance : How easy and difficult it is
Track readiness: I plan to hit the track on 11th Aug on TTD. How is you bike up for it?
sorry if my questions confuse you but hard to miss a good offer on R6 - a bike I always wanted.

Yes, still for sale. Ive gotten a few offers, but nothing Ive been willing to jump at.
As for your questions I cant really answer them, the rules in RI are probably different than NH. As far as registration and insurance you would have to deal with that on your own.
Im sure it would be fine on the track, as you can see from this thread some people have used then and loved them (01 R6) on the track. I have never taken this on the track though, so you would have to prep it yourself (tape lights, safety wire the oil filter, etc)
the bike is no longer for sale
