2002 Ducati 998 Biposto

Thinking about it.

Under 12k miles. PCIII, Sil Moto cans, Woodcraft/Duncanmoto Clutch cover, Helibars.

Not riding it enough and when I do it only feels "right" when it is on the track. The 748 I just picked up is going to give me my visual jollies that I get from having this in the garage so I am thinking of letting this go.

Pretty sure I want a 2006-2007 ST3 but would entertain other trades.

STOCK: KBB retail is $7600 Trade is $5400, NADA Has it at $7000.


Add the goodies and low miles and I figure I should be able to get at LEAST $7500.

What say you? Anyone want it?

Unfortunetly the market for Ducati's has dropped considerably, ask me how I know?? The resale isn't worth half of what you think and that's the one problem I've found with Ducati owners over the past couple years, the bikes just don't have that same appeal as they used to for people, maybe its because there's so many other great, and exotic, bikes on the market. I'd take the 6k and run....

I haven't been trying to hard to sell it but I haven't gotten many offers either. I would say the market IS low from what I am seeing on Ducati MS and such.

I do think I can get more than 6k though, even with the 12k service due soon.

the 998 is most likely around as fast as my 749, i have the advantage of the 10hp the yellow color gives me, yours has the displacement. i think ill be ok with it.
