I am selling my 03 RC51. It has 5100 miles, a clean/clear Mass title and has been highly modified for pure performance. It has never been down or tipped/fallen over. All services have been completed, this bike needs absolutly nothing. The motor is stock Honda relibility. I am the second owner, all modifications were made by me and have no more than 2000 miles on them. The mods are:
Super lightweight Titanium exhaust canisters, there is no brand name, they were made by an online friend in Japan and are no longer available. They weigh next to nothing. They are very high quality and are very loud and add to the bikes performance and sound. The mid-pipes are Akrapovic brand and are tapered. They get larger as they reach the exhaust canister. This design enhances the V-twin powerband.
I have added a PCIII USB PowerCommander with a custom DYNO tuned map. The dyno tune was time consuming and expensive but well worth it. The bike makes loads of power and has a very crisp and immediate throttle response. It is very smooth at low speeds and low RPMs. I have the dyno printout. The printout states 135hp to the rear wheel.
Scotts by Ohlins steering damper in gold to match the bikes other gold components http://www.scottsperformance.com/
CRG 'Shorty' Roll-A-Click clutch and brake levers in gold http://www.constructorsrg.com/levers/index.html
SATO rearsets in gold http://www.shop.kyleusa.com/category.sc?categoryId=44
Galfer 'wave' brake rotors front and rear with new EBC pads all around http://www.galferusa.com/html/standard.html http://www.ebcbrakes.com/motorcycle.html
HEL stainless steel brake lines, front and rear http://www.helusa.com/
It has a nice Euro-tail (not sure of the brand)
Speedscreen tinted windscreen
The rear shock is a Matris M05 3-way adjustable racing shock http://www.matrisdampers.com/
The forks are stock RC51 forks but have been totally rebuilt and re-valved with all Ohlins internals. The shock and forks were installed then completely 'setup', balanced, adjusted and measured using the 'sweet numbers'. All work was performed at GMD Computrac of Boston http://www.computrackboston.com/
This bike handels like a racetrack bike. I have not ridden its equal. It has never seen a reactrack, I have another bike dedicated for track use only.
I am a 37 year old guy that has not abused this bike ever. I do use its power and cornering ability, but it is not abused. It is not a squid stunter bike. It is a race inspired track capable weapon.
The cosmetic condition is as perfect as can be. You will not be disapointed.
This will be a cash sale. Please be prepaired to purchase it, do not waste your time.
$8000
ok. those pipes just gave me wood.
Good luck with your sale. Bike looks clean. I had an '02 RC51 and loved that bike. Your price does seem high though for a five year old bike. But if you can get it, more power to 'ya. Good luck with the sale.

I've seen this bike in person and it's damn near spotless. Some of us wonder if John actually rides it, it's THAT clean.
It also sounds amazing.
Bump for a good dude!
