Do to some rather large unforeseen circumstances I need to part with motorcycling for awhile.
2003 Kawasaki Z1000 Blk w/about 2500 miles on it, all original except for a K&N filter, air box mod, secondary throttle plates disabled and 15th CS sprocket. Bike is extremely clean.
I bought this from a RV's dealership about a month ago in NH w/610 miles on it. When I brought the bike home I noticed some corroded wires that did not seem to make since on a bike w/610miles. I ran a carfax report and it came back w/a flood branding on the VIN.
The bike had a clean NH title and I'm waiting for the MA title to arrive next week.
I have put 2k miles the bike in a month and it rides and drives exactly as a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 w/2600 miles should. I would not hesitate to hop on it and ride it cross country. With that said I have priced the bike @ what I believe to be a fair price given the fact the VIN pops up flood on Carfax, but it has a clean title.
Pricing:
I paid $4500 a month ago and I'm asking $4000bo. Or $4500 with front and rear stands (pitbull/Heindl), cover and full textile gear (Firstgear/Tourmaster) and a heated vest, boots and gloves.
I will also consider trading for a less expensive bike and some $$$$.

That is a great looking bike.

Thanks for the compliments.
I have straightened out the 4-wheel situation out so no car/truck trades needed.

Bummer on the flood tagging. I'm assuming the MA title is looking to be issued as "clean" as well?
Yes, from everyone I have spoken to (DMV, insurance companies) it should be issued a clear title. As I stated it had a clean NH title when I bought it.
I got an offer on the 636 this morning and signs of a lot of interest, but have yet to see the cash. I'm really hoping to be able to take this off your hands. I'll keep you posted.
Ha, is this you? Was poking around on CL earlier, then saw this thread -- noticed your location.

Can I say sold?
Nope haha, I still have to OK it with the seller. But mine is sold, so I'm hoping this one will be its replacement. I absolutely love the look of these bikes.
