Dayumn!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Just curious, why the motor swap?
He swapped the motor to get more power. The stock DL1000 engine makes the same torque down low but doesn't pull very well at higher rpm.
The SV1000 engine makes about 20 HP more than the DL1000 Engine. For a Vstrom the bike is quick!

Nice! I would love to see a TLR engine in a V-Strom.
Friend: man riding this really hurts my balls
Me: Well you're not supposed to sit on your balls!
That's cool. Most people wouldn't bother doing the motor swap just to get more power. I have a TLS and know that the power output on the TL motor compared to the DL motor is supposed to be fairly dramatic.
jbmass, curious if the nature of the TLR motor having it's power higher in the rev range than the TLS would be good on the adv type bike.
OP if you want me to delete these posts in your for sale thread just let me know and I will.
Thanks
Joel
