Bell RS-1 Panic Zone small, new

Edit - the helmet is no longer available.

    -------------------------------------------

    $220

I just got this helmet, and it's the wrong size for me. I have to pay shipping to return, so would rather not deal with the hassle and instead hope someone locally might want it. Looking to sell it for a bit less than I paid. It's a very nice helmet. Comes complete with box, tags, bag, shield is still stickered, etc. It has never even been outdoors.

How do they run? My GF is a S/XS depending on the lid.

I normally wear medium in every other helmet I have had, but heard that Bells run large. Looking at their fitment chart, http://www.thebellstore.com/Fit/step1.html I measure 56 cm. I had tried a medium Bell Star but it was a bit too loose so I thought a small was the way to go. I was wrong, the shell is just too small and there is little padding in the forehead to compress as it wears in. So the medium with larger cheek pads will have to be what I do.

If your girlfriend normally wears XS/S then I think it would work very well for her, as long as she likes the graphics. They certainly are a very nice helmet and this is an excellent price. I'm going to return it in the next day or two if nobody else wants it.
