2005 FZ 6 crashed! Any Interest?

Hi guys, I have a crashed 2005 Fz 6 in my shop with left side damage. Bike has a clean title. I'm just trying to help the customer out because he has no insurance on the bike. The customer will entertain any reasonable offer. The left side damage is all cosmetic but it is pretty extensive. You can come see the bike at my shop. How much to put it back to original condition?

It depends. If you were to pay us it would cost around $4k. If you bought all the stuff and did it yourself maybe around $2,500. But I mean when we repair a bike we do everything that has a mark on it. This bike has cosmetic damage on the frame, engine cover and bottom of the forks. All that stuff is fine it's just scraped up.

The bike does need a fuel tank, fairing, bars, clutch lever, left side foot peg, and the left side tail section. All that stuff adds up pretty quick.

I'm just seeing if someone out there needed a bike cheap or had the patience to part it out.

Just as a heads up, these bikes look awesome if you convert it to a naked. The european version is a naked, so if you went that route it is just lever (stock lever is about $10) rear side pod (Maybe $50) and handle bar (The FZ1 bar fits and is considered an upgrade for this bike and is $30 from a dealer). The just get a naked style headlight of your choice and a gas tank and you are good to go.
