2006 Ducati Monster S2R 800

Hi Guys
Bike is for sale for many reasons, most of which the wife cant stand to be on the back and I mostly ride with her so that's just how this story goes.


This is a 2006 Ducati Monster S2R800. It has approximately 35,400 miles and has been well cared for. The past winter it went through full maintenance including all new belts, etc. All valve clearances were checked along with compression by a Ducati Mechanic (not a dealer just a friend who is a master mechanic). This bike had the gas tank replaced years ago under warranty as part of the The swelling gas tank issue that these bikes had.

It is a true hooligan bike and is very loud. Oh don't worry about cars hitting you the horn sounds like a Buick.

My wife had a similar gripe about the passenger "accommodations" of the Monster. It's the only thing the Monster just isn't any good at. I looked into getting a better two-up bike, but I solved the problem instead by getting my wife a starter bike, and then when she was ready, her own Monster so we can ride together. She's really enjoying that.
