the bike was an original NESR bike
see thread / rebuild here
http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...Dirtbike/page5
I bought it from Scottie ducati and am cleaning out the garage ( need money for generator for upcoming winter and I stil have my Xr650r anyway)
Pulled it out of the shed yesterday, drained the gas, changed the oil, filled withnew gas and sea foam and kicked a mouse out of the airbox.
She started right up.
I rode it around the block and had no issue other than some smoke initially and the mid pipe not quite connected ( just needs to be tightened up).
Selling for 800 OBO.. I;d like to clear it in the next week if possible.
Since I bought it i have not done much with it due to marriage , new house etc. probably has less than 3 hours use in the past 3 years, as well no work has been done to it other than draining the tank etc pre winter, running it till it empties. This past winter i forgot to run it dry... but no major issues
hmmmm......
Nice, bulletproof bikes. glws!
Wirelessly posted
Street legal? As in do you have it titled.
Corey
Not titled.
Bought it without a title from Scottie.... and from the original thread in the first post, Dont see anything about a title
I can write you a bill of sale. I do not have it titled
Bike has a headlight, brake light, no mirrors, has keyed ignition, but no turn signals

I've got this kicking around, if you're interested. Full squish, but XC. I upgraded to a Heckler so it's really just sitting. Chain could use some love.

Sailing may be my main hobby movign forward...
hmmmm......
yep, unless your riding area is your backyard, dirt is more for the single/unmarried/no kids/retired folk. It just takes a lot of time to load the bikes and go ride for a few hours
single/ummarried/no kids/retired folks - jump on this while you still can!
So wait, because I'm married I should give up dirt riding?! I believe I should point out that it's my wife who has informed me a few times that "we're going riding today" and been right there packing with me.![]()

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
hijack away.... keeps the thread at the topand the the rep of the never tobe killed engine rep alive
bike still available... open to trades as well
hmmmm......
damn! props!!
<- 1 job, not married, no kids, no house, only ride dirt (trails or mx) maybe once every 1-2 months...I take her out 2-3 times/week, but it's pretty much just for commuting or light groceries on pavement or the gravel shoulder near an industrial area
but yes - the XR series is bulletproof. I had an XR80, XR100, XR200 and any XR is the kind of bike I liked - more riding, less wrenching!
