Good choice on a Tiger 800. Absolutely LOVE mine!!! Most fun bike I have ever ridden. I went with the 800xc. Longer suspension travel, spoke wheels. The bike can move when it wants to, and for logging roads and other off road adventures it can be a ton of fun!

I tested the comparable BMWs. They were absolute crap. No pickup or power. Until you get to their flagship 1200 model, they're worthless. The Tiger however wins big.

If you do go that route, check into Twisted Throttle for bags and such. I got a full set of the SWMotech hard cases. The last bag should be here in a couple weeks (backordered). They are just pure bike porn!
