I think that bike tries tooooo hard to be something it's not - old.

Reads like a Monster in sporty trim. Or a Ducati Thruxton. Simpler bike, modern-er tech. I'm down with just about everything I see except the dual rear suspenders.

I can do without the custom side fairings, everything else I'm all in with.
Sure it's got twin boingers, but they're good ones. The forks, monoblocks, everything else is drool worthy.

Needs: belts/valves/prolly carb work, and since he said it had a low battery, the starter clutch is probably toast too. So, sort all that out, upgrade the starter circuit as you go, and you have a fantastic motorbike for pretty short money.

Very similar. Mines a '93, but there's very few differences. My wife has a '95 M900. I've been very happy with it, so far. There are a few things it needs about every 60K: clutch plates, valve guide seals, seat. And a few every 100K: wheel bearings, steering head bearings, brake disks, clutch basket.
