Still here...but a little more work is needed than this one in Maine...that's a good deal . I'd buy it and use mine for a parts bike if I didn't just buy the HD...

always loved those 1000's. $1500 is short money for one that's running. I'd call if I wasn't so broke

I had a few of them....awsome bikes! They had so much torque it was amazing. I rememeber once on 495, I was going like 150.... chopped the throttle off and the back tire locked up due to the engine braking LOL... just an all around killer bike....a pig but even by todays stanrdards anyone who would ride one would be amazded at that tech....gear driven cams... wicked!

I know early vf's did but I think it was resolved by 85.
