I bought this seat with less than 300 miles on it, I used it for one 3,000 mile trip (made the trip tolerable, never would have made it without it) plus a few other trips here and there. Max possible mileage is 4,000. The rear seat cover was previously installed, but was removed without incident. The only marks that I know of are the staple holes from where the staples were used to install it.
