just asking.......how can you tell that a helmet is 100% safe after it hit the pavement?

How and where it hit is very important. But also you check the inside foam to make sure it's solid with no change in color or cracks.

i'm always worrying that my helmet will roll off the seat while i'm zipping up and be junk as a lot of times i heard/read that once helmet drops to the pavement it is no longer safe to wear unless you send it in for inspection and comes back with the OK to use. That's why i was wondering that someone would buy a crashed helmet. Thanks

That's a crock of shit. Any helmet that can't survive a 3-foot drop with nothing inside it shouldn't be in your gear lineup to begin with.
