2003 Kawi ZX-6r. Second owner, always garaged. Bike was crashed it at the Gap in 07 (or 06?), resulting in a bent subframe; you can't really tell though.
In 2007: new EBC Pro-lite rotors, new pads, new chain, sprockets (42 tooth on rear, ? on front (never took the front sproket cover off), front end rebuilt by GMD.
Damn-near new Pilot Powers.
E-Racing fiberglass track plastics, just painted. I'm too lazy to figure out how to put them on just for pictures, so you get mocked-up pics below.
35,731 miles
Pazzo shorty levers
Scotts rotary damper
Yosh exhaust
Extra tail (three tails total - two street, one track)
Two solo seat cowls in addition to the rear seat
Three extra rear sprokets (40 tooth, 41 tooth Vortex, and 42 tooth Vortex), one extra front sproket
Stock rotors and lots of other extra parts pictured below.
Runs great, no issues in the couple months that I've owned it. Just decided to go another route for the track.
Blue Book is $48xx, asking $4500 elsewhere, asking $4000 here.
With shitty tail on it (presumably the one that was crashed. Note the custom color-matched duct tape
Box of hardware - for track plastics, and some extra stuff, including weighted bar ends.
With newly-painted track tail.
Track tail again
Tail #3 - the good street tail. Don't know how to fasten the undertail to the main tail, so it's just kind of loose right now. There are probably fasteners for it in that box.
See, kinda hangs down a bit now. Definitely not in danger of falling off though.
Pazzos and damper
Track plastics mockup
Extra parts
Extras I found after - headlight bulb and oil filter (both new)
Some more pictures here

I happen to have extra rivets that hold the undertail to the rear plastics if someone pics this up and wants them without searching

Thanks Seth! Good lookin out...
Yes, it's JeffL's old bike. He's also got a set of Race Railz for it somewhere...
Good bike for a great price, i've ridden this thing and its perfect for the track
I'd be glad to entertain offers if people think the price is too high...
I don't see how that's relevant.
I didn't list my asking price at $4k to be a dick. I didn't list it there for people with no intention of buying the bike to complain that I'm not asking the same price Jeff was asking (note I said "asking," not "how much I paid") - yet out of the 5 or 10 that have responses on various boards, only two have complained that the price was too high, and only one of those was someone interested in buying it. Several, including BladeRunner and Io above, have even said it's a good price. Further, I had to fight just as badly to get this bike in the first place as anyone else that actively tried to get it - I didn't undercut anyone else or try to screw Jeff, nor did I try to "jump the line" and take the bike away from someone that "really" wanted it.
I'm well aware that something's only worth what someone will pay. Consequently, $4k is the asking price, not the firm price. I can't think of many large transactions I've been a part of that haven't involved some negotiation, and I don't expect this to be any different. If someone wants to dicker, great; maybe we'll find a common ground. If someone wants to wait me out until the price drops, that's fine too; but who knows if someone will be interested at the asking price.
Carry on...
OK so anyway I probably would've been talked down to $3K anyway by the spring, so let's say that's the bottom line.
bump since this is already on page 4
So you wanted to double up? On NESR?![]()
ZX10R
Ned
Worth a shot wasn't it? I didn't buy it here anyway![]()
Not funny.
If someone gets a smoking deal and wants to try and make a little profit what is to stop them from trying.
If you are aware of what was paid in the first place and are not happy to pay more than that then maybe you should PM the seller and try to work a deal that way.
Speaking for myself, When selling things I am not out to make a buck on friends. Anyone else is fair game.
... and I have never "doubled up".
