2003 Kawasaki Z1000, CT, $3500

For sale is my 2003 Kawasaki Z1000. I purchased it last year with under 9000 miles to replace my motard. The previous owner looked like he cleaned it with a toothbrush, a real anal-retentive guy. It now has 16,600 miles on it and I want a motard again. It's a great all-around street bike/fun bike, but it doesn't rustle my jimmies like a thumper does.

- $3500 OBO
- 16,600 miles
- Never been down
- Heated grips
- Braided steel lines F&R
- Taller Puig windshield (not pictured)
- 2005 ZX6R Shock (fully adjustable, unlike the stock one)
- Renthal Bars
- PR2 tires with about 1/3 life left
- Just changed the oil and waxed it for the winter
- Couple of small nicks and scuffs in the paint (It's 10 years old) but
it is really, really clean and well maintained.
- Only major cosmetic thing is I spray painted the plastic radiator shrouds
black and they turned out like crap. They are cheap on EBAY to replace.
- Includes F&R stands

I would feel confident riding this bike cross-country right now. It runs great and rides like the muscle bike that it is. The only trades I would be open to would be big-bore motards like the KTM 625 or Husky 630 (I would add $$)
