you can max the preload or buy a spring... up to you. I don't think the 750 is any stiffer, and if the 1000 is, it's not by much.

busa shocks bolt right up to the SV aswell as have the higher spring rate but for $30 I can't really go wrong. Also I beleive I would need the lower shock bolt/nut for the swap if you have those. Say $40-45 shipped to quincy?

Not sure what the SV has going on, I'd have to check.

hey man, Ive done some asking around on a few forums and Im gonna hold out for a busa shock. the gsxr shocks are sprung and valved wrong for a rider of my weight
