His wife probably wants the money to get a boob job. Why should he buy her fake boobs when her sister has a perfectly nice set of tits??

When I decided to sell my race car last January I priced it out $3-4k higher than I thought it would sell for. Reason being? I knew it wouldn't sell for 4-5 months and then I could do half a dozen events all the while telling the wife "yeah honey.. it's for sale." Some guy in CT came up to look at it with $18k cash in his pocket. ... and so my season trying to learn how to race on two wheels got started a bit early...

Trying to sell a bike using high valuation! Interesting idea but does not work if your parents are ready to give to someone for free....
I once had a crash back home going to work and though had no external injury but had concussions and was at home for a week getting anti-biotic shots each day. It could have been scary as I missed brain injury by a whisker. My parents were ready to give the bie to anyone for free! on top of that when my gf visited me during that time, she also told my parents not to allow me on the bike ever again. Had to shelf the bike for more than two months.
Do not know if you guys ever face parental pressures. back home parental pressure is way more than spousal pressure.

It says currently set-up with cut race slicks. What are cut race slicks? Slicks with tread pattern cut in by hand? I don't see any grooves in the pics. Maybe it means shagged tires?
Yes
A lot of the supermoto guys (real supermoto, not roadrace supermoto) cut their slicks. Supposedly it gives the traction of a slick with the benefit of the tread pattern to help with grip in the dirt sections. I've heard mixed reviews and it seems that more and more guys aren't bothering to cut them anymore.
