Moderately large fish tank with stand

For sale is an aquarium with stand, located in Killington, VT 05751. I assume the aquarium could also be used as a terrarium, if one were to skip filling it with water. The tank itself measures approximately 48" wide by 12" deep by 20" high; the stand below the tank is slightly narrower, but the cover at the top is slightly wider and deeper at 50" wide by 14" deep. Total height of the assembly is 54" inches.

This aquarium was in service until approximately February of this year. It would presumably need cleaning, and I would guess a new filter, but I don't know much about fish so am not completely sure. The previous owner of the fish tank left it behind when leaving his position here, and the following occupant of the office was not particularly interested in keeping the fish (or in giving up the footprint in the office). It does have what appears to be a filtering and aeration setup labelled "Penn-Plax Silent-Air X4".

The only damage I've noticed is to the top cover of the outer housing; as is visible in the close-up photos(1 2), someone appears to have used too much force and too little finesse to open the hinged portion of the cover. I'd expect this to be repairable with wood glue and/or small fasteners (staples or nails, perhaps). Were you to place the setup somewhere that nothing were resting on top of it, this part could probably just be ignored entirely.

Looking for $125/best offer. Pick-up only, shipping this thing would be way too much work. Cash, Visa/MC, and check or money order in the correct amount (no, I will not cash the overlarge check and wire the difference to a foreign country) accepted. Please email to arrange a time to view and buy the tank, or if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them, but I cannot tell you if the tank is suitable for a particular application.

Note that the top cover is not on top of the tank in the photos.
