For sale is a Newton electric lawn mower, model EM 4.1. This lawn mower is in very good condition and has only been lightly used. It starts up and runs without issue. It is extremely quiet and you no longer have to worry about fluid spills or gas fumes.
It comes with the lawn mower itself with safety key, leaf bagger attachment, TWO batteries, one battery charger, and one spare blade that has not been used.
$80 cash. PM if interested. Located outside Haverhill, MA.
How long does this run for and how large of an area can it cut on one charge? Also how long does it take to charge the batteries? I just need something for cleaning up under trees and doing the sides of hills.

as a rough guess, the batteries have each lasted me anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes on a full charge. there are two of them, so if one dies after the first hour you can swap to the spare in all of ten seconds. the top of the mower opens, the dead battery pulls out and the new one drops in. no reconnecting of terminal cables or anything like that. I can't say exactly how long they take to fully charge.. I've just left the used battery on the wall charger over night. as for how much one can mow on a given charge, I've done my 1/2 acre property on one battery. I haven't pushed it any farther than that, so I don't know the extreme. There are a lot of variables in that sort of question though, so take it with a grain of salt. With that said, it sounds like the endurance of the battery is not going to be an issue if you're just doing a little bit of clean up.
