tires ideal for those who love to travel longer distances without sacrificing sport performance. All-new HGHM Compound (High Grip/High Mileage), consists of the latest generation of advanced polymers, high matrix carbon black and liquid silica. HGHM Compound offers dry grip close to that of Diablo and wet grip that exceeds the competition; designed for high performance and reliability in all weather conditions. Precision handling thanks to the Ideal Geometry Profile (IGP), which has been designed to maximize the shape of both front and rear tires. The new compound guarantees an immediate warm-up at low temperatures - cold and wet pavement is no longer a problem; handling and grip are consistent in all weather conditions. Z-rated for speeds of 149+ mph.

Cliffs Notes*
First thing I noticed is they are a much harder compound than the M-1's that these replaced (I managed to step out the rear during a little trail-braking action before they were at operating temp...Pucker Factor = 7) and they did take a fair amount of scrubbing-in before I was really comfortable leaning into turns.
Rain performance is excellent, IMO. I was up at Lake George over the weekend and ended up riding in some off-and-on rain on Saturday. They are much better than the M-1's in this category. I never got the sense of losing traction in the wet like the M-1's seemed to give.
We'll see how many miles these are good for but I can already tell you that I will certainly be considering these for future replacements on the Fizzy... barring any major tread issues like scalloping.
I'll prolly get out to the secret practice spot this weekend and see how they handle mild over-temp conditions.
*So far so good.
Thanks for the info, its cool to hear it from another fizzy rider. They will most likely be my next set of hoops![]()
