Up for sale is this nice, clean XB9R from the first year of production. I did race it 3 weekends at Loudon in 2011, low sided it (that’s when the upper fairing “ear” was broken off), and converted it back to a street bike since I’ve owned it. I’ve barely put a 100 miles on it or so total! The suspension is new, the chassis is fresh and tight, the tuning is pretty spot on. Come buy it and ride it home.
It shows 40,000 miles on the odometer, but it spent a few years with 85 mph “stunt” gearing on it, so actual mileage is in the mid 30’s or so. No matter… it runs nice, rides well, and is just a great sport bike.

*Penske suspension front and rear with about 50 miles on it-tuned by GMD Boston/Peter Kates for a 190 pound rider.
*Jardine Carbon Fiber Slip-On pipe; comes with the stock pipe.
*New battery. New drive belt.
*Comes with ECM Spy software and USB cable to hook up to a lap top for tuning and re-mapping if you desire.
* one of the “ears” of the upper fairing mount is broken, so bar end rear-view mirrors have been installed.
*** extra bodywork, including race belly pan, and wheels available if you wanna track day it or race it.

Good luck with yours too. Hey, I think they are both fairly priced. My suspension alone was $1500 bucks and it has less than 100 miles on it. So essentially, someone will get a nice Buell with brand new race quality suspension from Penske and the rest of the bike, with a new belt and battery, for less than 2 grand, and I think it's a pretty good track bike too.
