1988 Honda Hawk, Just got it running really well with some jetting help from TLRman. Money needed for new project.
04/05 gixxer front end.
Penske shock
RS250 Bodywork, nicely painted.
Full M4 Exhaust.
Vortex rearsets, GP shift
Has the chain roller mod.
Beautifully running stock motor.
Michelin slicks with lots of life.
Really well track prepped bike, custom aluminum subframe.
New battery
Comes with a couple of boxes of misc spares and an extra tail section.
This bike handles like a dream and brakes like a demon with the gixxer front end. Turnkey race bike, ready to ride at the track.
No title, but I have run the VIN and it is clean. Bill of sale only.
$2500. Will entertain partial trades for interesting bike ralated stuff.
Folks who ahve seen/ridden this bike will vouch for it.
On the GT Forum.

Just passed the info along to a track friend who's looking...seems like it may be right in his wheelhouse.
Thats a great looking Hawk, I bought mine new in 1998 won a championship in 1992 and never sold it. Took it out of moth balls this spring and doing track days with a few friends. These bikes are great fun.. not the fastest but really fun..

What classes would these run at Loudon? I'm thinking about joining Expat Jr racing next year but can't decide between racing something like this, a motard, or an ex500.

I wish I knew what all those were....
Oh yea, ya gotta start out as Novice... so just do the 3 Lightweight races as Chipper mentioned.
But, once you make Amateur or Expert, there are many more options to consider:
GTL = 20 minute race for Lightweight bikes (typically 14 to 16 laps)
ULSB = Ultra Light Super Bike (8 lap sprint race) for lightweight twins & singles (SV650 excluded in LRRS, but legal in other CCS regions)
LW SB = LightWeight SuperBike (8 lap sprint race) for lightweight twins & singles (bases on production street bikes)
LW GP = LightWeight Grand Prix (8 lap sprint race) pretty much anything goes & Grand Prix allows maximum modifications
ThunderBike = (8 lap sprint race) unlimited mods for single cylinders, pretty much the same rules as LW GP, since LW GP (250cc 2-stroke twins are legal in 2011)
SuperTwins = (8 lap sprint race) designed for Big Twins (1000+cc) but still legal for smaller twins to bump up into.

for starters, it's just the 3 novice lightweight classes.

Lol at docs ninja edit.
Pretty sure Mark had a typo... bought the bike (Hawk NT650) in 1988, not 1998...
