SV650 wanted!

Hey all I'm looking for an SV650 pretty much any year, any color. Blue is my favorite though.

I have been looking on and off for about a month or so, but only in the last 4 days have I made my final decision on wanting an SV650 over any other so now I am determined to get mine ASAP. the season is only getting shorter!

Been having a hard time finding a good place to fine one, other than the very few that get posted on craigslist. I saw "schleppy's" a day to late. But after reading ya'lls forum for a while, I thought it could hurt (too much) to post here, as well as stick around and maybe learn a thing or two.

Up to the ball park of $4,500. It all depends on the bike it self, but a New 2008 costs 6k so it all depends.

Yea, currently all that are still up are were sold already, I did just go to view one today. But its handle bars are a bit wack of a custom job. I am looking serious at it tho cause their so hard to get.

I have an 02 S in silver that I am looking to get $1750 for. It is in good mechanical condition with Pilot Powers on it. Aesthetically it is a bit beat up but I haven't washed it in about 4 years. I think it would clean up pretty nice. You could rip off the fairings and throw on aftermarket gauges and a headlight and still have quite a bit of money left over.

Thanks for all the posts so far. It amazes me that with all the looking I am trying to do, everything that gets posted here I hadn't seen it already... hah. But then again that's why I posted.

With all the research I have been doing as well I have come to the conclusion I am looking for an 05 or newer, just certain many changes in the bike from 04-05 are nice.

Have you tried crazedlist.org ? Let's you search multiple CL geographic areas at once. I know it works on Mozilla Firefox - not sure about other browsers (I currently use Chrome, but will use Firefox just for crazedlist.org).

Thats cool, I will keep it in mind for later, and other things. I certify that it does not work with Safari.

That is a pretty snazzy color... and if you get it, I have a rear seat cowl I could sell ya...

P.S. It's a 2003, not a 2004. Burnt Orange was only available in 2003.
