The kiddos have a new wireless guitar hero controlloer for PS2 that they are not liking at all (they are hardcore ghs). Does anyone have a wired controller that they would want to trade them for the wireless? It was bought at Toys R Us and it has been opened so we can not return it and its been really hard to find the wired ones.
Its barely been used and in great shape, they just dont like it. Would also be interested in just outright buying a wired one for them. PM me if you have something I might be interested in. Doesnt have to be new, in great shape, just operational. Thanks!![]()
I know someone that may be interested, but i wont know until monday!
Keep me posted on this please. The kids love playing this and they just don't like that controller for some reason, Im not sure what the issue is but I dont think our living room is big enough for it to get the reception it needs from the box on the PS2 itself. Thanks!
What is wrong with wireless? I like mine.

There's nothing wrong with the controller itself but where it is wireless, its supposed to be positioned in a certain way (6' from the PS2, etc.) that because of our living room we aren't able to do. The living room isn't small, it's just set up so that we can't seem to be able to get it to operate per the instructions that came with it.
sounds defective... bring it back for an exchange.

which guitar is it? My Red Octane wireless controllers seem to work 30cm or 30 feet away from my PS2.

My buddy says hell trade ya. Your sure there is nothing wrong with the wireless!
The wireless was bought a month ago brand new at Toys R Us. Since we got it, it will work intermittenly for us. It doesn't stop working long, just long enough to screw up a song.
This happens when one of the kids moves and it kinda looses signal. Its weird because I know that the instructions say that the controller should be at least 6 feet away from the PS2, and the way that the living room is setup, its hard for them to use it that way.
They have to sit clear on the other side of the room to get that to happen. But when they do, it works fine. Its just weird in general. They are generally sitting about 4 feet from the tv when they are playing it and thats when it doesn't work very well for them.
It would just be much easier for them to be able to sit in there usual places and use a wired one instead.
My guitar can be UP AGAINST the receiver that's plugged into the console & work fine.
Dianne... go back to Toys R Us.... exchange it... it doesn't work right. Trading with someone just to find out the guitar IS broken will be more of a hassle.
