Yes thanks I realize that. I am referring to SHELL sizing. The arai's SHELL size are XS and S are the same shell......M and L are the same size shell....and XL AND XXL are the same size.

The only difference between the helmets with the same shell size are the pads. For example I bought a Large helmet but changes it out for Medium pads and made a Medium helmet.
