WTB Mid Size Cruiser

Rather than pick up a track only bike for myself I have decided to pick up a mid size cruiser for the wife. If you have family, friends, neighbors selling one let me know. Not looking for a ss or sport tourers. A cruiser preferred, std will be considered in a pinch.
Looking to spend around 3k. I know its a needle in a haystack but in this economy hard cash for unneeded toy its possible.

Please no craigslist links unless you know the person and or bike please.

My mom's husband is looking to sell an 05' Honda Shadow. I think it has about 7,500 miles on it, if that. Its blue. He was asking $3000 for it.

Ok at least this has been good for a few laughs so far. Looked at a few c-50 over the weekend, all 06 or 05 just to get a feel for them.

Found a 05 stock for 6500, and a 06 with a aftermarket windshield for 7200 (FIRM), both with over 7k miles. I really did LOL at the guy asking 7.2k asked him if he would consider 7 ( I was joking ) he said no , Told him it was a tough choice, buy a brand new one with windshield from a dealer for 7300 or buy his used bike for 7200, he then was willing to go down to 7000, But you could tell he was not happy about that.

hey more power to them for trying, and I needed a giggle this weekend anyway.

Seen a few around low 4's so its just a matter of time til I find my desperate for cash motorcycle owner and pick up a new toy for the wife

I didn't get a chance to get to my mom's this weekend, but its this exact bike. It has 7200 VERY easy miles on it (my step father is a pansy). They changed the oil every 2500 miles and at the beginning and end of every season. I'll definitely have pictures next weekend.

Seen quite a few nice bikes but they are all just over what I want to spend. So basically I am not looking for a good deal, I am holding out for a GREAT one. Cash is in hand but I am willing to wait til I find one at a bargain basement price.


She likes the s40 but I don't want her on an air cooled machine If I can get away with it

But seriously. Its a no hurry kinda purchase, But like the stockmarket, I have disposable cash in hand others don't and need it. If said person has a bike then I get interested. But unless I get a firesale price I am not pulling the trigger on anything. Bikes at market price hold no interest to me.
