As some of you know I'm moving to the San Fran Bay Area in a couple weeks. I found a house out there that I will be renting, and I've realized I'm just not going to have the facilities that I have here for fabrication and bike building. That being said, My RD400 Project is up for sale. It's obviously all in pieces, but there's a ton of stuff.
The motor has been gone through and received new crank seals and bearings, as well as new pistons. It's all been soda blasted/painted/polished. All new gaskets an seals. The side cases still need to be painted but other than that it's sorted.
The wheels have been powder coated in classic gold with brand new Battlax BT45 tires. I've got new wheel bearings for them as well.
I have two nice cafe seats for it which need to be fit up. The fuel tank is in awesome condition with no rust. Fiberglass headlight bucket from rockcity with some nice motolana stainless headlight mounts. Polished hand controls with clip ons. Lots of the bits are powdercoated (rotor hats, fenders, gauge cups, etc.)
Also some beautiful brand new Tarozzi rear sets come with it, along with practically new DG pipes.
No title but I have the registration from when a year or two ago when It was on the road. So you'll be able to register it fine. This is going to be a huge loss of money for me but it just doesn't make sense to continue it at this point in my life.
I have about $600 into the wheels alone. Selling the lot for $1200

All yours mate but you said he wanted something complete in your wanted post....
I have my hands full with the RZ but had to inquire!!
Yeah, I'm going to say at this price, don't inquire, just show up with cash ASAP as it's not going to stick around.
I'm interested in your bike? Where is it located? Also do you have everything to put it back together? Could the swingam & wheels be thrown on loosely just to make it easy for transport?

Everything that came off the bike is neatly organized and together. I'll even include a service manual. There is quite a bit of work to be done, but it's 90% there. I bought a new set of steering stem bearings and wheel bearing which aren't pressed in yet, and I'm not going to have time to do it before I move. It's a tiny bike and easy to just pick up and move around.
