Who wants to get dirty next friday, Feb. 25th!
Lopycam and i are in search of mud on the fun trails! Anyone wanna join in?
Destination not set in stone yet, but there are a bunch of trails in NH that are still open to 2 and 4 wheeled atv's!

You all should see lopycams R1 in the snow and mud! Just awesome with those sand paddle tires!
I never thought the stock suspension would handle jumps so well in the woods!!!

You always seem to plan this stuff whenever I already have something else going on.....
Oh well, spring is coming and we will have plenty of chances for weekend dirty rides. In the meantime, I guess I need to mount up that brush guard that I got at the end of last season.
Keep me on your list.

You guys suck for riding on a weekday![]()
I'd love to go but there isn't a chance in hell of me getting a day off this time of year![]()
If you're on 2 wheels, you're probably going to want some sort of screws or studs in for riding up in the northern territree![]()

Northern New England!
Mark... quit ya bitching... i think you're coming down with something... i can sense it! *cough**cough**sniffle**sniffle*

do you have ice screws in the XR? I see it being a very tough ride without 'em.

i have been meaning to do that all winter. but now spring is creeping up and i am wondering if i should bother.
it'll depend on weather next week... i may stud the wheels up after all.

At this point, figure how many times you'd actually use the bike and see if it's worth it. Plan on using that thing every weekend this coming season. This will be a dirty year for me.Originally posted by oreo_n2

it's plausibleWhat type of riding you looking at? Trails or on the ice?
We just got 7" of snow and by looking at the weather forcast, it aint going anywhere soon. I could be talked into a all ice ride as long as i can find a puppy sitter![]()
Yamaha
i dunno?
i tried riding the snow this weekend with a dirtbike.
i made it through the woods, eventually, but there were some pretty crazy crashes mixed in there!
i guess if there is snow on the ground i would definitely need to stud it up. Not sure if i am motivated enough to amke time for that this week with spring right around the corner?

It only takes a couple hours to stud the front and rear tires. Get 1/2" long ones and you won't ruin your tires or tubes, Just unscrew them when the ice melts and you'll be fine. Stop your bitching and do it already![]()
Yamaha
i knew you'd say that!

Anyway, I will be on a 'big-ole-jetairliner' flying down to sunny Florida on the 27th. But, as I mentioned before, please keep me in mind whenever you plan a dirty ride in Southern NH.
Have fun and get dirty!!!!!![]()

I'd rather not stud nowsince its so late in the season. I'd rather see some trails than the ice but this snow certainly screws things up.

Maybe i will stud my tires.. oh wait the season is just about over... should i get some studs? Maybe i won't bother, but it is going to be cold for a while... i'll pick up some studs...
if you had done it 2 months ago when you first starting talking about it, you'd have had a lot of ice riding in by now
I know i'll be riding tomorrow![]()
