Stoneman, even though I have no interest in riding at your place, I completely understand where you are coming from. I used to live on a private lake, and have experienced the same problem. Once I had invited some friends and had established a track, strangers started showing up at all hours, parking wherever they could. The noise and nuisance got out of control quickly, and before long, the club held a special meeting to ban motorcycles and quads from the ice. I attended the meeting and attempted to fight the proposal by limiting hours of operation, or even (gasp!) speed, but when one of the members threatened to break my knees with a baseball bat if I rode my motorcycle by him, I knew that it was not going to end well. The bylaw proposal passed easily, and I moved a year or so later.
The funny thing was that sleds were still ok.

sleds seem to be able to do anything and go anywhere they please in this state.
