Need to protect my one piece neck...

$600 is a bit stiff, Ill take my chances there. That's almost what
I paid for my helmet and boots combined.
never used one in the past but mine is on its way from CA to my house right now...should have it sometime next week. I got the gpx club which normally goes for 400, not the sport model which is just a tiny bit lighter.

I have got one. I use it for the dirt, and will wear it if I do a track day this year. I broke my neck in 3 spots last May at a enduro, and don't dare ride without a brace now. Tim
So itdoes not show how it would fit a track or street rider that is leaned forword.. I would love to have somethiong like that but. i am allready feelling my helmet hitting / rubbing the coller of my jackets.. would you still be ably to lean forward and tuck..????
Beat It Like A Rented Mule !!
Legend in my own mind
It came with a different back support for the street, but I have not tried it yet. With it adjusted the way it is now, I could not put it on and ride my VFR. At times it bothers me in the woods when I feel my helmet pick up on it in the back.
So far these do NOT work for street or forward leaning bikes. You can't turn your head to look over your shoulder, or even to corner aggressively.
I'm wearing the EVS version which has a greater range of motion, but I still can't wear it on the street, even on my motard.
It works great for dirt riding, but that's about it for now.
He did, it did not work out.
I looked at these alot the only problem I heard as if you Land on your dome you have a good chance of breaking your collar bone. but i guess thats alot better then a boken neck.
And you have to choose your other gear Back protector ect around it

I heard Alpinestars was working on a version for roadracing.
And Motosport.com has a Leatt brace for $225.
Astars has an mx version which is like $625 right now I think. The Leatt for $200-$225 is the adventure which doesn't have the adjustment that the club or sport have.
So currently there are Leatt braces for $600, $400 and $200ish, the two top models have the same adjustment available.

I do, Clark does occasionally. Waiting for the snow to melt before the local tracks open, probably another month or so. I went to Mototown Sunday, had fun but didn't ride well. Picking up a new 08 YZ450 hopefully Wednesday. How's the riding looking down your way? There's a track near you that I may come down to this weekend if weather and everything else works out.
Gman... I have Hawk you can ride in Ptwins.![]()

just got mine in the mail today. Spent a pretty long time adjusting it/switching parts as I have a thinner upper body but it feels sweet and all is good with the helmet on. Will have to get on the bike soon and see how it feels.

Yeah, we got there a little later than planned. I think we started riding around 10, then took a good break. I haven't been on a bike since Loudon in early October, don't remember the last time I rode dirt. And I'm not all that good at jumping, not confident in the air, so that wasn't the best idea for a first ride of the season. I'm trying to convince my friends to go again this Sunday. Picked up my new bike today, so I'm dying to ride it.
ya if you are looking give this place a try http://www.shopspeedhouse.com/

Ive had my Leatt for almost a year now. Racing MX I felt I had too after my body cast crash. Took me a while to adjust it just right but only 15 min on the bike to get used to it. I use it on the MX bike and for aggressive dual sport rides but it it just doesn't work leaning forward on the street bike.
I won't ride in the dirt without it, but I won't ride on the street with it.
Just my two cents.

Any opinions if it would work on a motard on the track?
