It's been a love hate relationship for ma and the SX125. I love the motor, but as I got faster, the chasis started to give me a hard time.
Bruised and losing confidence, I put a call out for a steering damper, and like the batsignal, my call was answered by a lister with a mint GPR at a bargain price. I mounted it up and started practicing at my local spot to build my cofidence and adjust to the new set-up.
Yesterday I took her to the scene of so many wipeouts, Crow Hill. I started out easy and dialed the damper in to the conditions. 2.5 on the dial was the magic setting. I got down to business and starting tackling the jumps that had given me so much grief. It was soooo much more fun landing and being able to steer/brake as opposed to wrestling with headshake. I even started practicing my whips a little.
I tried not to let my exuberance get me carried away and called it quits while I was ahead. Zero crashes, and I was able to put together sections that I had no chance at before. Can't wait to go back. I did film some laps and maybe Dave will post one up?!

Glad to hear the bike's behaving now. I'm going to have to get down to Crow Hill one of these days.
