From being on many offroad sites in the area in the past, there will be conflicts between the 2 and 4 wheeled offroad crowds![]()

QUADS SUCK!
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill

Yay to a new england dirt site... boooo to MA for having next to 0 legal trails.
There's no need to get in an argument with myself, I'm always right
MX vs Street Legal...
Now if the MX bike were street legal, it'd be a no brainer cuz that bike is simply awesome
Sport quad vs Utility is easy...
Sport is for pleasure, utility is for work. Other than my nephew riding the utility, it's only use is firewood and snow removal.
2 wheel vs 4 wheel.... Depends on the mood is the only answer for around the property type riding. If I go anywhere local, the available legal riding makes up my mind for me

I had a Kawi Praire 650 and a Sportrax 400. I liked the 400 for the trails, but in the winter, the Praire would go ANYWHERE. Hmmm... maybe its time for a new dirty toy![]()

I say boooo to the site. The spots we ride are special spots passed down from generation to generation. I don't want any publicity of the spots.
Just my 2 damn cents.

My 2-wheels is for the track. I like my Prairie 700 for the woods.
I really do hate to say it, but I would have to agree. Once my local riding spot, which my brothers and I had been riding for over 30 years, hit the internet, 4WD "Crawler" clubs from 4 neighboring states flocked to our little town and tore the place to shreds in 3 years. It was not uncommon for me to go plonking up there and come across a congo line of 20 or more 4wd trucks! This had never happened before the area was posted on the internet.
Skip to Spring '08 - The area is now closed with heavy EPO patrols and irrate land owners placing camera's in the woods to catch the trespassers. The funny part is that now the 4wd clubs want to work with the land owners to open it up again *for them* and keep dirt bikes and quads out!
So, my secret spot is gone....if you want to tell me where yours is, then, Great, I guess. Maybe I'd take a ride out and try to find it. You will never even know I was there. I promise. But if the 4WD clubs start showing up, you can kiss it goodbye.
