Why do they turn the dirtbikes sideways when they jump?
its called scrubbing. the bike isnt accelerating if its not on the ground. since jumping is an inherent part of MX, the idea is to dramatically reduce the amount of time spent in the air (IE: NOT accelerating), so go for distance and not height. the only reason for jumping is to get over obstacles, and shorten the distance traveled.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...
