j/k - t's kay...when I did LA-Barstow to Vegas my friend's KTM exc5## actually blew his fork seals or something all got oil all over the rotors so badly that he didn't want to ride it anymore...so he swapped to his wife's XT...and lasted way longer than the KTM!
furthermore, towards the end of the ride, in the most "technical" part of the ride (which wasn't *that* bad) his XT went through like a tractor while I was getting bucked the F off by a tall stiff MX suspension
and tbh, it's all I *need* to go dual sporting...the 40-50hp bikes can get dangerous![]()

oh those ktm's must be junk, eh.
They're dangeriss because trees jump out at you, and rocks make you tip over, and mud is yucky.

yeah, those air cooled 10hp 200cc thumpers'll all mostly get there...eventually (so long as you're light)...
here I am riding with a 450x and 450f

I am impressed by how that bike made it up that hill.

I am definitely going to go to pachaug. The bike is not registered yet. Guess I have to bring the bike to the dmv to get inspected first.

Let me know when you hit up Pachaug. I have been a few times since getting my KDX in October, I like it a lot. There is a marked enduro loop that has plenty of challenging spots. Just make sure you do it in the right direction, which I think is clockwise if I remember correctly.

Yeah, Pachaug is pretty fun. And big. I never really figured it out.....LOL

Don't need an inspection, just a VIN check since you bought it out of state. I usually go to Hamden DMV since it's like a mile from my house, but apparently some shops can do VIN checks too
Also, I'd be interested in doing some light trails once I get my 350 running again.
Anywhere you can ride in the hills around Meriden?

Ok so this thing came with Cheng Shin tires that are brand new. I will keep on but are they crap? I have never heard of that brand.

Chinese, actually fairly common and not completely horrible. They are not the 'hot setup' but I'd run'em anyways.
