CRF key switch

I'm putting my 450x on the road and need a key switch so people cant start it and take off while its in the parking lot. I was wondering if the key switch from a CRF230 would be compatible for the 450x. If so, would any additional wiring be necessary?

Why not buy a single pole/ double throw keyed switch? I can prolly find an extra one here at work. LMK

Just find where the kill switch wires go and tap into where ever you want in that circuit...

that would work, but I'd feel safer if you needed a key to start it instead of flippin a switch.

That's what I mean....it's a switch with a key...same as a security/ bypass switch.
