I might try to make this one for a 1/2 day...

I came once to CH...

...and it was ugly. I wore street gear, was in very low gears, cut across the track once, rolled all the jumps, ran out of gas on the track, and couldn't pass the kid who was sitting down on his CRF80

I'm going to MX207 Instead.

Crowhill will be packed, their going to use the Schedule B format which means it'll be 15/15/15/15. And since its a big race Sunday a lot of people will be there in the morning.

This is alljust assumption but Im sure MX207 will be pretty empty and if you're looking to practice for a long hard day I'd head up there.

goodTimes today, had fun as always, great to hang with the crew!

i felt OK for my first time out in a looong while. track + weather were mint... not crowed at all, glad we stuck to the plan.

EDIT: talking tires before we left... i just noticed while unloading that i ripped a fucking hole in my semi-new Pirelli rear. bish! not too many rocks at CH but thats twice now i've had tire issues. too soft maybe (?) or just a little hardened after winter (?) i'm pissed, decent gash.

no real ride report for me... i'm just happy my back held up fine and got some laps in. good kickoff to season.

Excellent day, great crew. Good laughs. Everyone finished on 2 wheels and uninjured. No crowds at all. I'm not going to arrive that early again cause the track really didn't come in good until noon. I didn't master that downhill double today, but I did clear the big one after it all day, so that was good. felt a little rustier than I expected. This track is so different from my practice spot. Looking forward to the next get together.

Ditto the 3 above - nothing eventful, just great hanging getting out to the track. Conditioning will come in time.
Going to change out sprockets - I run 14/51 right now and murder my clutch throughout the track. The popular setup is 13/50 for mx, so that should help quite a bit with everything.

New Rule: Last minute AM posts are not allowed! That would've sucked it if you guys mosy'd over to Paul's and I didn't know. Hopefully we all have cell numbers in case of changes like this. Phew
