Where can a fella get his fix? I'm in southern NH, and I'm sure the state riding areas aren't going to be open for a few months. PM me if you don't want to post it, just looking for some trails to ride.
I'm gonna check some potential by me that I've heard is safe. I'll get back to ya.
How's the snow cover down in the Manchester area? I might know of a spot, just need to see if it's snow covered or just mud and puddles.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. Goffstown PD has been patrolling the rail trail that runs by the house something fierce. Had three four wheelers pulled over the other day. Two cruisers and the sergeant's explorer. No one looked real happy.
What's the situation in Merrimack, NH off of Lawrence rd?

I know a tolerated area in the Lowell/Lawrence area. I'll check a few other places.
Dump this into google and click on the satellite view. You can see the track that is set up. This is off of Lawrence Rd.

The other one is near exit 11 off of route 3. At this marker there's a stone tunnel under the railroad tracks and an airfield to fly model airplanes. Continue and you'll end up near the Merrimack River. Now's not a good time as the mud is extremely deep.

This is why I hate the goverment.
Lawrence road is gated off at the moment. I was down the dump the other day.
There is yellow caution tape at the entrance. I'll walk down sometime this week and take a look I am guessing due to flooding.
Haha, I saw him for the first time last week in about a year and a half. As far as I know no more big tires for him. If you havent been down there recently it is def worth the trip. Go onto bing maps and look at the birds eye view and rotate it around. That whole pit is entirely a m/x track now nothing like it was years ago.....no more burned out cars.....or well in your case fitz rangers.
The town of Merrimack lets us use the land, as long as we stick to a few rules, and we we're able to build a pretty fun MX track. But the part that sucks is the town will only let Merrimack residents ride there. They say its for legal and liability purposes. We have been fighting the town for 3 years now to allow us (locals who ride and maintain the track) to bring friends and they still won't let us. We actually get local PD down there quite often checking ID's and ORV stickers for proof of Merrimack residency. The local riders also do their own checking and policing.

are you willing to drive down to north oxford, MA?
Hodges Village Reservoir is a federally owned property, so, unlike the MA owned forests, Hodges is open year-round
it is pretty wet, and recent conditions resemble waterfalls, but there are people out there
and if anyone's interested, on March 13th they're holding "trail day" to cut a new connector trail up the hill and do some riding

It's a shame. When I was growing up down there, there were a TON of legal areas to ride. Londonderry, Merrimack, Bedford, Goofytown, Amherst, New Boston. Shit - I grew up in western Bedford and used to ride my RM125 to junior high on the other side of town AND hadta cross route 101 to get there! We used to ride from my house to the base of Uncunoonuk. That RM was how I used to get back & forth to the ball park. ALL legal-like. No one gave you any shit as long as you weren't rippin' up & down any roads. Fuckin' shame, but I guess it's happening everywhere...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Ditto. Growing up in Henniker and Weare, it's how we got everywhere - school, work, soccer games, gf's house
Sucks that's the way it has to be now...
