Anyone know any trails anywhere in the area?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
everything in that area is in the National Forest, and I believe restricted aganst wheeled vehicles
there are some nice trails beginning at the old Berlin city landfill, and theded toward Success Pond and beyond.... ending up in Errol, and in Maine

When we stayed at Loon we tried to climb the ski slopes on the fiddys. Did not work so well so resorted to screwing around in the parking garage.
I would head to the terrian park if I was you.....

There are several LONG dirt roads that cross between 302 and 115 and 2 that you can take a car on.
Those might be your best bet if you are thinking of some motorized activity.
I took my focus over one a few years ago and it was barely passable in a car like that, I was worried about damaging the car. It took me over an hour IIRC. They'd be really easy in a dedicated off road vehicle though. This was in the summer though, they are probably barred right now.
I don't know of anything off the Kanc though. I've gone over that road a few times on my bicycle and explored some of the side areas and there doesn't look to be much that would be legal for an ATV/Dirt-bike. Most of the stuff up there isn't even legal for a mountain bike.
Bear Notch road off the Kanc is also barred and not plowed during the winter. I rode over it on my bicycle a few years ago in March and it was like 50% snow. It'd be pretty fun and take you quite a while if you were to say sneak past the barrier.
Thanks randy but i don't know where anything is in the area, could you do any better than landmarks? Maybe directions, distances or somewhere to check it out?

You guys should stick to MASS and save the NH trails for us!!

Most of the off roading is either old logging roads, trials along the river or powerline easements..........
Most of the forest stuff I bet is "off limits" but you can explore around.
I don't hear much about people doing it though..........
