Average out here is $20-30 to ride for day depending on track.

Pala/Perris/Milestone all owned by same company. $45/year membership then $25/per ride after that. Or year unlimited pass for $65/month = 2.6 visits per month.

25 bucks a day for big bike practice, 20 for little bike. Bout the same as yours, but I only get one track with it.

Yea, well this is MX Mecca man... 20-30/per day is about industry standard. We just happen to have a million tracks here b/c everybody and their mother rides moto. I pulled into Milestone one weekend and thought a fucking national was going on. Was INSANE how many people were there. Even the minibike track was jammed!

Thx for the heads-up. Just emailed my guy at Malcolm Smith Motorsports (what a awesome dealership). Head over there tomorrow to have replaced.

Guess I should give a bike-update soon. Got 6 rides under the belt and a few early mods. Sore from riding last night!

No problem, Alex. I saw the recall and was concerned that my bike was affected (it is not), but remembered that you had just bought an SX. I have only 1.2 hours on my 350... all in 5-15 minute sessions. I just haven't been able to log any real time on it yet. On the 2nd "5-minute" ride, I clipped a small log with the front tire, and it flipped up and slapped the left hand side of my tank. When I got home, I noticed that it had cracked the shroud (and the graphic) about 4" long. I was instantly deflated and disappointed. *Sigh* $75 for new OEM shrouds (with graphics pre-applied).

Doh! Well good weather is coming. Sure you'll get some quality rides in.
I have a appointment next week to get my throttle upgraded. All good.

Probably long overdue for a real 'review' of this bike since I've put 35 hours on it now... but in the meantime here's a fun video from Wednesday at Milestone MX. It's a bit long but once Jason joins us about 3 minutes in we have a fun moto passing, roosting, taking different lines, and generally yelling at each other.

Probably next week on Monday. I've been working last 5 days straight at the LA Auto Show and don't get done until Sunday. So Monday I'll be riding.... probably that following weekend as well. We tend to hit Pala on weekends.
