Any of you vermin done, or plan on doing, any of these?
They look great, a little of everything in one race.

Which one you thinking about doing Chip? The last of the winter ones or waiting to get in on one of the summer ones?
I'm just trolling for a more financially responsible alternative to lrrs...that's also closer to home. All of the above, I guess Joel.

I may be doing something similar this summer, cutting back a little on the roadracing end of things and stepping it up a little on the woods riding/racing end. I seem to really enjoy riding in the woods more and more so I figure screw it I'll go be the slow guy in another race series too.
Joel
I did one early last spring at Crow Hill. It's a well run event and a fun format. They ran the easiest 70% of the MX track and then went into the woods for about 3 miles per lap.
I'll do another this year, but not another mud fest after it rains heavy for a full week before the race.
That's kind of the idea Joel. I've pretty much plateaued with lrrs, and I be spending pretty huge $ for minimal gains. (not that I want to leave it AT ALL)
Plus woods racing will really force me to get and stay in shape to be competitive, even in c.
Thanks Eddie.

I've got a friend that does them all the time and loves em.
I'd like to try one at Crow Hill, love that track! Perfect blend of woods and moto. I think this is a series that may really start to catch on.
If that exc is plated, I'd learn on that. Ride it all over. That way when you get a lil smoker or something you can toss it around like a mtb. A small bike is better, but your exc is plenty capable.
Also, pstr is doing a short course hate scramble in mattapoiset 4/1. Go run sportsman, no points, just for feeling it out. Ride the ride, if you will.

Chip, a hare scramble in Mattapoiset? Tell me more.....
I know! Pstr's website blows, so the only inkling I got from it was on nedb.
I got a pm theyre working on the trail this weekend. I'm going to see if I can get there. I'll keep ya posted.
The race is 4/1.

Definitely keep me posted I'd like to see what it's all about. I can't imagine where they could do that in that town??
I'm planning on doing as many as I can.
It'll be my first shot at racing in the dirt. Friends did it last season and said it was a blast.
The dirt riding I did last season DEFINITELY helped my roadracing.

I've done a couple this season and will be there on Sunday as well.
Lots of fun, lots of entrants, lots of spectators, cheap money.
Has me rethinking how much $ I've spent on roadracing the last 9 years....

Chipper, you should do the June 24th Crow Hill round. Sounds like that might be one I'll be trying.
