You and your sick minds, it's not what you think
I think it's time to protect the Rappy a little better? I've never had A-arm skids, never bought a real belly skid, and my PRM swinger skid has seen better days. I've had the PRM swinger skid on there since new in September of 05, can't complain about it being almost 5 years old?
The bottom simply wore out, the aluminum used to be 1/4" thick.
A-arms, well I do have some new ones a friend gave me off a YFZ450. I'm thinking it's time to replace those as well, at least the lowers?
And the belly, I took the stock plastic one off to clean today but it's full of holes and scrapes. It's time!
Looks like another trip to the dealer to order up a PRM swinger skid, PRM belly skid, and a set of PRM A-arm skids
It needed a bath after today, plus a few weekends of ice riding grime as well

Yeah, they are not pretty! Most of that happened in one ride probably 4 years ago? There was a mountain we used to climb up in Maine, the only way to get up sections was speed...and with the trail only being 4' wide, there wasn't much of a choice to avoid much..haha Fun struff though

You definitly have some great garage wall art there.
That would have never happened on a honda.

I'd NEVER ride around my parts without swingarm & A-arm skids! Besides yours, I've seen what happens. I too run the PRM's, but I don't have a belly skid yet. I will though, it's high on the list...
I did what you said with the swingarm skid: bored out the mounting holes a coupla mm & went with beefier mounting bolts. Badda-BING...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
No question I will reorder a PRM swingarm skid. The drilling of the holes to bigger bolts I read on Bluetrax.com back in 04 when I had my YFZ450, awesome trick and it makes them stay on.
I may hold off on the A-arms for now as funds got a little tight, just meens I won't replace those A-arms yet![]()

Its funny cuz the more i look at the damage the more i think you were driving into every rock on the trail like the quad is invincible...
were you drunk?
thats why i sold my sport quad. every ride i was pulling swinger skid off the sprocket. that was a beefy pro amour one to. i was also running a 22 inch tire that helped....a little.
if i was to get another one the first thing i'd do is full skids and taller tires and gearing for new england trails.
or you could get a good skid plate for the swingarm and just power over the rocks....
but then the answer to the second question leads me to this
i just pm'd you my address, you can drop the quad off anytime tomorrow...
i think given its current shape, and the mental faculties of its owner, its time for it to have a new home.....
