I didn't plan on riding, but my days plans kinda got shot down and I needed to come up withy something else to do.
Day started early as I set out to burn brush. It wasn't long after the fire was going that the wind picked up, I was afraid being in the woods so i let it burn out.
While I was waiting for it to burn down, I figured i'd continue cutting some single track trails seeing that was the area I was burning. I spent 4 hours cutting trail and added maybe 1/2-3/4 miles of new single track...in the rocks.
This section isn't like my other rock gardens, probably not riding up and over these unless you have a trials bike.
By the time I went and got my bike and finished installing the hand guards, it was 4:30..Perfect!
A couple laps around the double track trails to warm up, then into the single track.
This rock garden has been hell for me on my WR, suprisingly it was quite easy on the KTM
And I was surprised even more at how easy all the other rocky sections were? I guess I forgot the KTM is 50lbs lighter than the WR, which is huge for me in the tight stuff.
More rocks?
Look down?
Couldn't help to notice my bike has a dirty hole!
Somehow, I ended up with 13 miles. It started out somewhat slow, but I was feeling good after the halfway point. The sections I was riding in in 1st and 2nd were 2nd and 3rd after a few miles. I would have kept riding but I was out of fuel and hadn't gotten a chance to pick up a second gas can for the smoker.
As you can see, there wasn't much left..

You suck.
But, I did finally get my skid plate welded. Now its just a valve check and good to go. Just a matter of finding time....
By looking at the extended forcast, you'll have the time..but that's because a monsoon is coming the end of the week.![]()

ThanksYou're welcome to come check it out anytime
I'm going to give it one more tank of fuel before I start messing with anything. Only reason is, the fuel that was in the bike was from the dealer, and I'm not sure what the ratio they mixxed was. That's also the reason I ran the fuel level down so low. The KTM manual calls for 60:1
